I'm thrilled to share some exciting news from AudioQuest: they've just announced the launch of their brand-new speaker cable, BraveHeart. Many of you, or perhaps I myself, had the chance to see samples of this impressive cable at High End Show Munich, and I know some conversations have already been sparked about it.

Bigger Performance

On the outside, BraveHeart is nearly the size of AudioQuest's Mythical speaker cables, measuring just 0.6 mm smaller in Outer Diameter. Despite its substantial size, BraveHeart is designed to be more physically manageable than the William Tell model, thanks to its positive and negative conductors being separate, round constructions.

Internally, BraveHeart boasts almost a third more of the superb PSC+ copper—the very same material used in William Tell—effectively positioning BraveHeart as a slightly junior version of the ThunderBird.

• Bigger means more “torque.” This translates to better preservation of the damping factor over length, a particular benefit for speakers that exhibit very low impedance at certain frequencies, especially in the bass.
• Bigger means flatter frequency response. More metal within the cable reduces the impact of variations in speaker impedance values across the frequency spectrum, leading to a more consistent frequency response.

Quieter Sound

The overall physical increase in size also contributes significantly to the audio quality that truly sets BraveHeart apart from William Tell.

• Internally, conductors are positioned farther apart due to increased insulation. This design choice effectively reduces the "out-of-focus" effect caused by conductor-to-conductor magnetic interaction.
• Upgraded polypropylene insulation actively reduces dielectric-noise, ensuring a cleaner signal.
• Significantly thicker multiple layers of Carbon-Loaded PVC, newly incorporated Graphene, and twelve times more silver on the drain wires collectively enhance RF-Noise Dissipation, leading to an even quieter background and clearer sound.

ZERO-Tech: Unencumbered Power Flow

While not new, AudioQuest's ZERO-Tech remains as special as ever and is exclusive to their Folk Heroes and Mythical Creatures series. This technology eliminates characteristic-impedance mismatches between a cable and the attached source and load. The result is a sensation of power flowing unencumbered, presenting music and soundtracks with an almost magical "out of nowhere" clarity.
